I didn’t buy a ticket. Can I still attend.

Yes, subject to availability. Note that MedTech Conference and the Australian MedTech Industry Awards Dinner tickets are sold separately. If I lose my ticket, where can I get a replacement?

Please see our friendly team at the Information Desk who can assist you.

Can I get a copy of the Attendee List?

Due to Privacy Laws, we are unable to send you details of attendees. However, if you want to leave your details with our team at the Information Booth, we can facilitate a relevant introduction.

How do I get in contact with any specific MTAA staff members?

Our friendly Team at the MTAA Information Desk will assist in facilitating this.

Where can I store my luggage?

The ICC Sydney has a cloakroom available for delegates. It is located on the ground floor of the Convention Centre.  Open times:

  • Monday 1 March – 0700 to 2030
  • Tuesday 2 March – 0630 to 2330
  • Wednesday 3 March – 0700 to 2230
I am an exhibitor, where can I store my boxes?

You can store boxes and banner bags under your trestle table.  You can request the cloakroom to hold some items or store them at your hotel if you are staying close by.

How do I get my Awards Dinner ticket?

Dinner tickets will be available from the Registration Desk onsite, from afternoon tea onwards.

Is the Australian MedTech Industry Awards Dinner included with the MedTech Conference tickets? I’m not sure if I’ve registered.

No. Conference and Dinner tickets are sold separately. Click here [insert Conference registration link] to purchase tickets for MedTech Conference. Click here [insert Awards Dinner registration link] to purchase tickets for the Awards Dinner. If you have already purchased tickets, your confirmation email will have the purchase receipt at the bottom, indicating which ticket you have purchased. If you are still unsure, you can reach out to the MTAA Events team at events@mtaa.org.au for assistance. If you are onsite already, please see our friendly Team at the Information Desk and they can check for you.

I didn’t buy a ticket for the Awards Dinner. Can I still attend?

Yes, if there is availability. Please see our friendly Team at the Registration Desk who can assist you to register. Dietary requirements are not guaranteed to be accommodated for registrations within 7 days of the Dinner.

What is the dress code for the Awards Dinner.

The dress code is Business Casual.

Where do I sit / How do I know where my table is?

Most of our dinner seating is unallocated. There are reserved tables for Award Nominees and Finalists, as well as Company Tables and they are identified as such. You can view the seating chart to determine if your name is on a reserved table, or approach one of our friendly staff at the Information Desks for assistance.

I have special dietary requirements. How will the staff know that.

The serving staff will ask all seated at the table for any special dietary requirements. If you have recorded this on your reservation this should be communicated to them.

Will the Conference be available online?

The Conference is face-to-face only. Slides and recordings are not provided. The face-to-face format will provide you with the opportunity to engage with the content, speakers and other delegates directly.

Do you share slides?

MedTech Conference is a live, face-to-face conference. Slides and recordings are not available. We invite you to join us at the conference in-person, where you will have the opportunity to engage with the content, speakers and other delegates directly. We look forward to your participation in our MedTech Conference.

What if I am no longer able to attend?

We do offer substitutions within the same organisation to attend in your place, with notice. For information on substitutions and cancellations, please refer to our terms and conditions [insert link to T&Cs] for the Conference and Industry Awards Dinner. Please note that any special access and dietary requirements cannot be guaranteed on substitutions.

Can I get a refund if I change my mind about attending?

No. We are unable to offer refunds but will provide you with a credit note to be allocated towards a future event. You are welcome to transfer your registration to a colleague. Please see our friendly Team at the Information Desk who will be able to assist you.

Do you still have availability?

Availability is live on the website. Once tickets are sold out, no further registrations can be accepted.

I booked the wrong event; can I change my booking.

It will depend, please contact MTAA Events at events@mtaa.org.au or if you are onsite, please see our friendly Team at the Information Desk who can assist you.

Who attends MedTech Conference?

With over 300 attendees annually, our Conference attracts a combination of medical device manufacturers and suppliers, MedTech affiliates, MTAA associates, and Australian government bodies. These attendees hold senior positions, from small to large organisations, and are leaders and influencers within their sector.

What parking / transport arrangements are in place.

Parking: 

ICC Sydney has two car park facilities located within the Exhibition Centre and ICC Sydney Theatre, comprising a total of 826 car spaces. Additionally, there are secure car parks located in and around Darling Harbour, including Wilson Harbourside Car Park and First Parking Darling Square Car Park. 

Train

A short walk from Central or Town Hall will take you directly to Darling Quarter, Tumbalong Park and Sydney Visitor Centre. Town Hall and Central Stations are a 10-minute walk from ICC Sydney.

Bus

ICC Sydney has its own bus stop. Bus routes 389 and 501 stop at Harris Street near Allen Street – a 10-minute walk from ICC Sydney.

Sydney Light Rail

The Light Rail travels right through a number of Darling Harbour stations including ICC Sydney’s stops, Convention Centre and Exhibition Centre. The Light Rail starts at Central Station in the CBD and travels to Dulwich Hill in the inner west.

Do you offer group discounts?

Our Early Bird rates offer the highest discount available, and MTAA-members enjoy an additional 30% off. Click here to register. Please note, in fairness to others, there will be no extensions once the Early Bird offer expires.

Are you accepting submissions for speakers?
