The MedTech Conference 2025

Held on 22-23 October at ICC Sydney, The MedTech Conference 2025 brought together Australia’s leading medical technology professionals, innovators, policymakers, clinicians, researchers and investors for two days of insight, collaboration and industry leadership. As the flagship gathering of the Australian MedTech industry, the Conference provided a platform to explore the technologies, policies and partnerships shaping the future of healthcare.

This year’s program featured 69 speakers and moderators, including international experts, industry leaders and emerging voices from across the healthcare ecosystem. Delegates participated in a diverse mix of keynote presentations, expert panels, fireside chats, lightning sessions and interactive discussions covering topics ranging from digital health, real-world evidence and artificial intelligence to workforce development, sustainability and women’s health. 

A major highlight of the Conference was the launch of MTAA’s report, Enabling Remote Care: Funding Pathways for Digital Therapeutics and Remote Patient Monitoring, which explored opportunities to improve equitable access to digital health technologies and support the integration of innovative care models into Australia’s healthcare system. The program also featured the finals of the Building Better Futures for Health Challenge, showcasing emerging Australian MedTech innovators and reinforcing the industry’s commitment to commercialisation, entrepreneurship and future growth. 

Patient impact remained at the heart of the Conference, with powerful patient stories highlighting how medical technologies are transforming lives across Australia. These real-world experiences demonstrated the profound impact of innovation, improving health outcomes, increasing independence and enabling people to live fuller lives.

Beyond the conference program, the exhibition floor and networking functions provided delegates with valuable opportunities to connect, collaborate and discover new ideas. Sponsors, exhibitors and industry partners showcased innovative products, services and solutions, creating a vibrant environment for discussion and engagement. With 336 attendees participating across the event, The MedTech Conference continued to serve as a key forum for strengthening relationships across Australia’s MedTech community.
