The MedTech Conference 2025

Held on 22-23 October at ICC Sydney, The MedTech Conference 2025 brought together Australia’s leading medical technology professionals, innovators, policymakers, clinicians, researchers and investors for two days of insight, collaboration and industry leadership. As the flagship gathering of the Australian MedTech industry, the Conference provided a platform to explore the technologies, policies and partnerships shaping the future of healthcare.

This year’s program featured 69 speakers and moderators, including international experts, industry leaders and emerging voices from across the healthcare ecosystem. Delegates participated in a diverse mix of keynote presentations, expertpanels,firesidechats,lightningsessionsandinteractivediscussionscoveringtopicsrangingfromdigitalhealth,real-worldevidenceandartificialintelligencetoworkforcedevelopment,sustainabilityandwomen’shealth.

A major highlight of the Conference was the launch of MTAA’s report, Enabling Remote Care: Funding Pathways for Digital Therapeutics and Remote Patient Monitoring, which explored opportunities to improve equitable access to digital health technologies and support the integration of innovative care models into Australia’s healthcare system. Patient impact remained at the heart of the Conference, with powerful patient stories highlighting how medical technologies are transforming lives across Australia. These real-world experiences demonstrated the profound impact of innovation, improving health outcomes, increasing independence and enabling people to live fuller lives.
